Do you feel like you want a do-over? If you had “it” to do over, what would you do differently? This question applies both to your life, and your business. Isn’t it fun to imagine that we could go back with all of the life wisdom we have acquired over the years, and do it again? Hindsight is 20/20. What if we did it all over with 20/20 vision?
What in your life do you wish you had done differently? Living from a place of regret is like living life with the brakes on. Regret means to “feel sad or sorry about (something that you did or did not do): to have regrets about (something)”. It usually refers to something that was disappointing or unpleasant. What if everything in your life happened for a reason? I believe it did.
Living with regret drains our power. Imagine that you have a supply of energy (power) that you get to spend as you’d like. Carolyn Myss describes us as an “energy bank” with 100 cords that we can plug in anywhere. When you plug one or more of your energy cords into your regret, you are spending your energy. In fact, your energy can be drained very quickly with regret. What if you only plug your energy cords into things that uplift you, that create even MORE energy, rather than depleting you?
That’s what New Beginnings can do for you. This Spring, imagine that you can have it all. A business that is thriving with all the clients you desire, and income that is flowing in. It’s not just about clients and money, though. It’s about believing that EACH DAY represents a new beginning, and has limitless potential. I find it helpful to return to the present moment as often as I can. In the present moment, there is only peace and joy, when we remember to let go of past moments that bring up feelings of regret, or hanging out in the future, which brings up worry and fear.
Knowing that this moment is all there is, and that the rest is hindsight and foresight, we can create our own reality ON PURPOSE, not by default. We are all CONSCIOUS CREATORS when we stay present and in the moment. This practice can be developed, and Mother Nature delivers the perfect practice playground. Each day, go for a walk, and stay present. Notice the tiny blades of grass waking up from winter’s snowy blanket. See the buds on the trees. Listen for the Canada Geese overhead, and gaze at the precision in which they travel.
Nature guides us, too. Just like the grass, the buds, and the geese. We can experience bliss just by paying attention. Use your 20/20 vision to notice your moments, and appreciate them. Celebrate the awakening of Spring, and let it uplift your heart, your life, and your business. You are a magnificent Creator, working hand in hand with a bountiful Universe.
Quick Tip:
Affirmations for Present Moment Awareness:
- As inner peace becomes the priority, I choose to be in the present moment.
- I feel a sense of inner spaciousness when I am in a state of Presence.
- I spend time in a state of Stillness. There, I am my True Self: way more than my body, and beyond time. I am formless and eternal, and at peace.
- I create peace in the present moment by gazing at the gifts of Nature with awe and wonder. I am alive, and grateful.
The joy of Being, which is the only true happiness, cannot come to you through any form, possession, achievement, person, or event – through anything that happens. That joy cannot come to you – ever. It emanates from the formless dimension within you, from consciousness itself and thus is one with who you are.
