Here’s a tip from Dr. Wayne Dyer in his book, There’s a Spiritual Solution to Every Problem.
This is one that Dr. Dyer practiced regularly, and I intend to practice it again starting today. Whenever you come to a stop at a red light, realize that you can choose to go within and be in present moment awareness. You can enjoy the stillness. You might call this free time for brief meditation. When the light turns green, the person behind you will surely let you know it’s time to “move on”.
The other option is to spend that time judging the other drivers, focusing on how late you’re going to be, beating yourself up for not making it through the light, noticing what’s not right about your day, etc. If you love creating negative energy flow, this will surely do the trick.
